Students will have the opportunity to take scientific lab measurements as they learn about electricity and alternative energy. The main focus is helping students to measure current, voltage and resistance in the projects and labs we will do in class. The light intensity meters help extend electricity to solar power. When students have a basic understanding of electricity they are able to extend that to their own lives at home and see themselves in various careers, such as electricians and electrical engineers. Students will use these tools to take data and apply it to electrical concepts.
