These books and study guides will add opportunities in my classroom for my students to enjoy and explore a variety of cultures, views, and experiences. We will learn with these books daily during Literature Circles, by discussing themes and character motivations in small groups. These books are rich with new and challenging words that will build the students' vocabulary. Students will get to enjoy them at home while building projects and completing comprehension activities. Students with the deepest understanding of these books will have an opportunity to showcase their knowledge at a competition.
