Our library is part of the largest school in our district, unfortunately, it is very old and needs some major updating to fulfill the needs of our students. Our current project is to create a comfortable reading nook for our kids to enjoy their books in. Our students love to be in the library, but it is definitely missing something to make them feel more comfortable and welcomed. The library has not had any new furniture in nearly a decade. The needs of our students are changing, as well is their love for our library. We need everyone's help to be able to create a comfortable reading corner for our 700+ Huskies! Please help me make this possible for them; With the rough year they've had last year, it is only fair to give them something special they can enjoy now that they are back on campus. As you can see, we have the basics to get us started, a rug, bean bag chairs and 2 small bookshelves to fill with their favorites so they can sit down and read.
