This year, our goal in ELA is to improve students' independent reading levels. Although we've been given a range of books for our classroom libraries, not all students have found titles that interest them or meet their reading needs. I want to build an engaging classroom library so that students can find books that interest them and hold their attention. I trust that if they find the right book, students' reading skills will inevitably grow and improve. I want all of my students to find books that they love so that they can, in turn, continue to seek out these books themselves.

About my class
