Now that each student has an individual desk and chair, any movement becomes very loud. Students with sensory issues become startled, next door classes and other students in the class working independently or in groups, get distracted by a simple pencil drop that now needs to get picked up. The noise from the desks and chairs needs to be controlled. Desk and chair movement becomes an easy way to throw off learning. Please help bring focus, peace, and learning to our first grade classroom. We will all appreciate it so much!
