These play activities, stepping buckets, balance beams, and other supplies will help further engage my students to perform the physical activity they need every day in a fun and safe environment. These tools can address various physical needs such as coordination, balance, agility, fine motor skills, and core strength. This, in turn, will help improve their strength and tolerance when performing tasks such as transferring into a desk, participating in PE/recess, or even just walking down the hallway. Students need to work on body balance and coordination to safely move around outside and in the classroom. The art supplies are to help my students to draw their goals when using the physical therapy equipments. They can draw themselves completing the equipments so they can visualize the end before they begin using the equipments. These art supplies can also be used for creating a path of success for walking on the stepping stones. They can draw and design the most effective path for balancing themselves as they walk on the stepping stones to practice their balancing needs. I hope these balancing equipments and art supplies will help my students to meet all their physical therapy goals!!
