We want to use these monitors to supplement the physical education fitness curriculum, motivate students to achieve higher intensity levels, and assess student progress in reaching higher intensity levels. It has also been shown that heart rate monitors are an effective method for motivating students to be more physically active during physical education classes. During class we have a projector to display all of the active monitors we currently have which is not enough for or class population. At times my co-teacher and I have 50+ students and with your help we can provide them with a monitor.
