I base all my lessons around the effects of one’s decisions to do things or not to do things (like be active) impact most, if not all, aspects of overall health. Scholastic Magazines publishes Choices, a magazine completely focused on Teen Health, eight times a year both in hard and digital copies. I believe it will provide more up to date and relevant for the students in my classes. Topics will likely to be included: mental and physical health, self-care and regulation, stress management, mindfulness, healthy relationships, vaping, prescription and drug abuse, etc. I will use this as a supplement with my curriculum.
