My students are 21st century learners and technology is becoming more important every day. Because we are a Title I school, many of my students do not have access to computers or tablets at home. Learning how to navigate technology is important. These tablets will provide my students a chance to access new learning platforms and programs that they would otherwise be unable to use. There are so many opportunities to expand their learning, and I don't want these kids to miss out. With the new technology the students will be more engaged and ready to learn. I am hoping that they will use the software to explore the world around them. They will design and create projects throughout the school year. Many will also use adaptive software that will make learning with their disabilities a little easier.
