Our students with Specific Learning Disabilities and behavioral issues will work on learning how to handle their frustrations by utilizing behavior strategies learned from their behavior plan. As behavior goals in their plan are mastered, students can earn prizes from the Prize Wall. If students have a good day, they can earn prizes as well. As I have learned, students with special needs enjoy tactile rewards. Most of the rewards that I am asking for as donations are rewards that will help them stay on task, rewards that will distract them from environmental factors in and out of the classroom.
