The t-squares, pencils, pastels, sketch paper, and other items are the beginning supplies needed to help my students reach their goals as artists. I believe that having access to these supplies will boost their self-esteem as an artist, which has the potential to spill over into other aspects of their lives. Many of them want to explore multiple types of media, and we are starting with basics like charcoal, graphite, and pastels to tackle the subjects they most need help with. Many of them have expressed interest in drawing people and giving details to nature for a more realistic look.

About my class
