Students will learn to observe, investigate, describe and discuss the characteristics of living organisms in their environment. The materials will play an important role in the execution of the lessons by allowing students to observe, describe and discuss any plant life cycle from beginning to end. Teachers will collaborate to create enriched and engaging lessons aligned to teachers as a campus will plant their own garden Pre-k guidelines. As a campus, each classroom will take ownership of their own garden. Students will develop skills such as teamwork ,socialization, leadership, and it will also foster a caring attitude for our earth and our environment at an early age. Project based learning creates a focused learning environment in our school and community. The project will provide education for the families and the community as a whole.
