My students kept up with the latest trends on social media over the pandemic, but this learning project will re-ignite their curiosity, creativity and future interests in areas of STEM. Education is constantly changing, and I must capture the interest of my students, teach them how to reconnect with each other and build real-life connections through Legos. Students in my classroom will read and research about the history of Legos and engage Reading, Writing, Media, and Math in new ways. My school doesn't have a collection of Legos, so I would like to have Legos available for them to create and build into my lesson plans to wrap-around into after school and at-home cooperative learning.
