By the end of the day, I have students who can just not sit still but still want to finish their work. They like to stand around the room or even sit in my own chair. I can't have them just sitting anywhere in the room at any time so I want to make a more organized but flexible seating corner. I want to have a flexible seating corner for students who may need a change of scenery. This could be because they need to calm down from a classroom situation that is behavior-related or it could be early finishers who can see this as a reward to extend their knowledge further in a new seat and area of the room. It could also be my students who can just not focus, and they now have the option to move somewhere where they may be more focused.
