They provide real-to-life experiences to students with interrupted formal education and varying literacy levels: print-rich classrooms to promote and engage a safe, healthy, and social-emotional learning environment. Students will be engaged in the reading, writing workshop model while learning to read in a second language. Students will be immersed in a science lab with hands-on materials that will enrich their varied educational needs. Students from low-income family settings will be involved in mock locations while acquiring essential life skills that will motivate them to strive and succeed in the future.
