Having these resources in our classrooms will create engaging lessons, where students can interact in our classroom with hands-on activities and with others. Focusing largely on literacy, having students use various materials each day will enable me to reach every student and their learning style. This would allow me to differentiate my lessons, challenge little learners who need it, and create experiences where young students learn best. These materials will be used for early literacy development each day. Having flexible seating and these hands on materials allows for students to engage with our literature content each day. With our literacy scores struggling to be on grade level, these resources will be used to create more hands on ways of learning our letters, our letter sounds, and other base literacy skills.
