These leveled reading resources will be used at school and home with the goal to grow reading comprehension and independent readers. The book set will be utilized in student literature circles to facilitate a love for books and higher-order thinking in students. There is a very diverse mix of abilities in my student population, and the current school resources are not targeted at the appropriate level for most of my kids. These resources will greatly help to bridge that gap and ensure an equal opportunity for all learners in the classroom.
