Students will design an artistic fashionable item through the lens of the MET Ball using varying watercolor techniques. Students will connect to what they design personally by creating the idea themselves. Students will tell a story through fashion, just how costume designers do on stage. The "First Monday of May: Design For the MET Ball project will lead into the students designing for a play of their choosing later in the semester. They love using the watercolor and seeing how far they can take their designs! I can't wait to see the amazing results the students bring with these watercolor paints!
