These books will continue to enhance and improve my classroom library. Because of the pandemic, most students are used to reading and working on screens. My hope is that they develop a love for books and in-print reading, immersing themselves in new literary worlds. Most of my students have never read in Spanish before. I have chosen books of every reading level so that my students will learn to read in their first language and will continue to grow as young readers. With these books, from "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" to "Harry Potter," my goal is for students to work to become bilingual and biliterate students and young adults.
