All of my students qualify for special education services due to their needs. They are learning to recognize their feelings and those of others as well as manage their big emotions in a calmer manner. Due to their needs, many of them are quick to frustration and anger and are learning to control themselves. They also struggle with staying on task. The sensory fidgets, games, and learning cards will help them learn skills needed to help them regulate themselves and learn how to address big feelings. My students are constantly looking for a fidget to calm themselves and remain on task. They need explicit instruction about feelings and emotions. They want to do their best! With these tools, cards, and games, they will be given an opportunity to learn and gain the tools they need.
