The big idea! I would like to put Boogie Boards in the hands of each student. Boogie Boards are a low-cost way to engage students with an environmentally friendly digital-like experience. It is a reusable writing tablet that comes with a stylus. It will replace the need for using dry erase markers, as well as the mess that comes with it. Students will use their Boogie Board throughout the day in whole group and small group settings, as well as independent learning stations. Students’ will use them to practice handwriting, brainstorm writing ideas, and show their thinking in math. I know my students will love the opportunity to use their Boogie Board and I dream about all the ways it will be fun and engaging in my classroom.
