Poverty is possibly the most destructive way to hinder a child’s ability to attend school. Having an iPad with the Student Assistance Form(SAF)readily available for student usage could assist with hunger, mental health, homeless families, clothing and healthcare. With the use of an iPad and support of the Wraparound Specialist students would be able to: self-identify to initiate a request for accommodations needed for their success at school and proactively discuss their needs privately with the specialist who would assist the student in filling out the SAF in addressing the necessities of the family/student.
