My students need incentives to build their first language and also learn a new language (English). Middle school kids need rewards and prizes for reading, just like elementary kids do. The books I chose will be in my classroom library and students can check them out of my class library. The mats are for reading in the classroom in a comfortable setting. They will stay in my classroom. The art supplies, toys and technology items will be rewards for the kids when they read books. They will appreciate it all!
