The headphones that I have selected will help my students with special needs be able to get their thoughts onto paper using the headphones with a microphone to access the speech to text program on their Chromebook. They will also be able to use the headphones to enhance their reading and math skills with the use of computer programs like Lexia and ST Math. Having several students in the classroom, it is difficult for them to concentrate without headphones because the computer programs are designed individually for each student and having different lessons playing aloud at the same time is to confusing for them.
