My students need various materials to engage in science. I want to extend their learning beyond paper and pencil. Little minds need manipulatives to absorb what they are taught. My classroom is in need of science tools. I plan on incorporating these materials in science stations. I love science and I want to ignite that curiosity in my students. What better way to teach the life cycle than actually seeing a caterpillar transform into a butterfly right before our eyes. Comparing animal characteristics is easier when we have animals to hold.
