The gallimaufry of research on classroom lighting indicates that the type of lighting does have an effect on children's behavior, cognitive performance, visual fatigue, and possibly, health. Some evidence indicates that light may produce different affects on different children. The lights in our room are harsh and proper lighting has been shown to improve morale and increase productivity in the students. I look forward to providing the best environment possible for the first grade students at my school. Thank you for considering helping make our classroom an educational home!
