My students often struggle to distinguish the individual sounds in a word. In this project, students will listen to a word and then pop a bubble for each sound that they hear. Each student will have their own POP IT and they will squish the sounds in a word before writing the words on their paper. This will help students use multiple senses to learn how to read and write. It will bring some fun into the the classroom too!
