Since we are displaced from our classroom, these materials will be used in a temporary classroom where we will be located. We don’t know when or if we will be back in our classroom. My students lost all technology in the storm also. We will need materials that supplement learning and follow our current curriculum and standards. The base ten sets, student clocks, Reading Comprehension Practice Cards and other items that I’m asking for will be used everyday by students either in stations or in a group setting. These items will help, but could not begin to replace all of the items that were in my classroom. Almost 16 years of materials, supplies, pictures, memories all gone!
