The iPad will allow students to work in groups with a peer tutor/teacher who is able to provide assistance to the groups and be mobile while monitoring the groups' productivity and progress. The iPad will also allow the students the opportunity to work one-on-one with the peer tutor/teacher in a setting. Mobile technology will provide assistance to the students in a one-on-one setting that is isolated and offers the student an opportunity to get targeted instruction on the skills needed to improve their reading and math. The students will be able to work in an environment that is judgement free and personally targets their needs.
