Our major focus this year is learning Adobe Photoshop, which can be a complicated program, especially for new users. I was fortunate enough to receive a new Mac lab for my students, but unfortunately, my Mac desktop does not speak to the smart board located in my room. This prevents me from being able to display what I am doing for my students to see. Currently, they are forced to read through written instructions, which can sometimes be difficult, or wait for me to go student by student to explain and show them. Having an Apple TV would allow me to screencast my computer to the smart board, so I can walk students, as a class, through each process step by step. This would also allow me to immediately show them anything they are confused about or have questions on.
