Due to the pandemic, my classroom requires desk shields to keep the students safe. Unfortunately, the ones provided for us are not appropriate for my first grade students because they are tall and have a white border around them. That makes it difficult for my students to view things in the classroom like the Smart Board, the lessons, and each other. These clear desk shields will allow them to have unobstructed views of the whole classroom and the lessons that are going on. It will also make them feel more connected to one another. I will also be able to monitor my students better.
