My students love to work together and collaborate. However, due to Covid-19, there is not room for extra tables and furniture that promote collaboration. The Carpet Squares and Clipboards will allow and encourage my students to work together, in a comfortable way. Throughout the week, the students have the opportunity to earn "Flashlight Friday". The flashlights help to make our learning fun. At this time, I will turn my lights down and allow the students to use a flashlight to read or work on a math activity. They like to do this in a comfortable spot, instead of at their desk. All these items tie together and encourage my students to build a strong classroom community.
