My students are always up for a new challenge when it comes to finding ways to learning new concepts in music. These materials will allow my students to find new ways of expressing what they have learned in my music classroom. A lot of the time in K-12 music programs, the elementary is left out of thought when getting supplies for them. In my own music classroom, we currently don't have anything for my elementary classes and what I do have for them is either broke or falling apart. We are currently using high school percussion equipment and it's too big for their little hands. With the equipment we do have, teaching the new concepts is hard for them to understand if they can't express it with hands on materials. With these materials, the students can learn about form, texture, timbre, dynamics, articulation, steady beat, instrument names, and counting beat.
