Students are expected to learn studio habits and behaviors like those of professional artists. In order for my students to handle their own artwork with care and respect, they need to have a designated location for in-progress, wet media artwork to be stored! Currently, students have to stuff their wet artwork into their shelf, where they store their sketchbook and other materials/resources. This causes many painting to come out smeared or stuck to other materials after they have dried. I want to give my students a drying rack to keep their artwork in perfect condition until they take it home!
