I don't have a pencil sharpener in my class! Usually, I have to go to a different classroom to sharpen pencils for my students. It disrupts class because my students don't have pencils or a sharpener. This basic machine can really help the class time be used effectively. As a special educator, I need to have a way to keep my classes and IEP materials organized. I also have to make sure that I'm making my lessons equitable and accessible. Colored markers will help ensure that I am able to differentiate my student's learning by color-coding and using the markers to "chunk" assignments.
