Reading is important in life. During our school day we have 120 minutes for Language Arts. Part of that block involves independent reading while I conference with individual students. Many of my students struggle to read, the headphones will allow my students to focus without distraction and follow along while a story is being read. The stories are at their independent reading levels and are part of our curriculum. Everyday my students come to class and give 100%. They all want to become more proficient readers and realize that practice is the only way to make this happen.
