I want to teach world drumming to my students because making music together brings us a sense of community, togetherness and joy. We can become isolated within our communities with social media and separated families. Creating a classroom community will help bring back the unity we need as human beings. My students want to play instruments. We sing together every day. By adding classroom instruments into my program we can deepen our experiences in making music together while furthering our rhythm skills. When we make music together we feel happier!
