For our classroom, we have purchased the OSMO programs for our students to learn in different and unique ways. These programs allow for students to develop math, vocabulary, and listening skills, problem solving, critical thinking, social and emotional skills, and much more! We want to be able to set this program up as a center in our class. We are the special needs adapted classroom. I have all of my students for all 3 years they are at the middle school, most/all of them have Autism or an intellectual disability. We are one big family and love doing things that are different and outside the box when it comes to our learning. These OSMO programs would be a great way to get my students expanding their learning with things they know and love. Such as Disney story workbooks that increase literacy skills and a digital pizza company that increases their social interactions and math skills. For my students to be able to complete these fun and educational activities, we need a new tablet! Only one! Our county provided tablets many years ago, and all of them have maxed out on their software. Therefore, for this new program, it isn't compatible with what we already have! We need a newer tablet for our students to be able to participate and enjoy all of these new ways to learn and would LOVE any help for us to reach this goal for our kids!
