Technology is the center of our classrooms and the way of the curriculum in our school district. Many times throughout the day my students are completing independent work and activities on their Chromebooks. Chromebooks are a laptop without a mouse. Having a mouse for each student would be so helpful and would help them tremendously by being able to drag and drop, draw lines, and maneuver much easier and quicker. They also watch videos, complete assessments, and listen to directions through their headphones. Many times, parents will buy headphones quickly without checking to make sure they will last them the school year. When they stop working or get lost days or weeks into the school year it makes it so much more challenging and frustrating for the student to independently hear through the Chromebooks throughout the year.
