The students are participating in extra calendar days that are being used to utilize time for different club of their choice. The supplies requested will be used by our art club. We will be doing various projects throughout the year including a Halloween craft making pumpkins out of yarn, glue, and pipe cleaners. Also, we will be making bats using the clothes pins, googly eyes, and the paint brushes. They would not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in these type of projects if not for the donations given. I have many exciting and creative ideas ready to go, but am lacking the supplies/funds in order to complete them. Giving these students the opportunities to complete these projects can positively benefit them by giving them an outlet to express themselves.
