The books that I am requesting will help my students connect with literature by encouraging them to see themselves and others in a positive light. These books will expose children to new and exciting stories that can change their outlook on the world and empower them to grow up to be responsible and caring citizens. I plan to make the books available so my students will be able to read them independently. Diversifying classroom libraries is such an important aspect of providing a safe environment where children learn to accept and respect others while embracing self-love. By funding my project, you will be changing the lives of our future leaders.
