These books will go into the hands of my students who need it the most. Although I have chapter books in my room, there are very few that my lowest students can read. With these pieces of literature, I will be able to expand challenge my students without pushing them outside their comfort zone. Each book purchased will encourage my students to bolster their comprehension, while growing their love of reading. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level. I believe that the best way to increase reading ability is to read more frequently, and this will provide an opportunity for just that.

About my class
