Alphabet and number flash cards will make a difference in student learning because students will have access to individual materials that they can utilize from home. Furthermore, foundational skills will be reinforced and practiced in the home environment as each student will have their personal materials. Students will demonstrate growth in letter and number recognition as they have the opportunity to practice on a daily basis. To reinforce this, student names will be entered in a drawing at the end of the school year once they recognize their letters, sounds, and number correspondence.
