All of my students are between the ages of 3 and 5. They are complex learners who fall somewhere on the Autism Spectrum. My students have varying needs and capabilities. Sensory stimulation is amazing for individuals who have ASD. By exploring their surroundings they gain an incredible amount of knowledge. A lack of sensory input makes it difficult for individuals with ASD to focus on a presented task. The wobble seats will allow my students to receive stimulation before, during or after a more challenging task. Additionally, the sensory tables will allow my students the opportunity to receive tactile stimulation while exploring various textures, learning measurements, strengthening their motor skills and improving their social skills.
