My students are committed to developing their school's Quizbowl team. They are driven by friendly competition and a love for learning. They want to prepare as much as they can to achieve greatness within their competition. The questions used to practice connect to a variety of subjects students are learning in their classes, including history, science, and art, and my students strengthen their connection of their school learning to their competition learning. The buzzer system will not only drive friendly competition but will also allow my team to experience how the competitions are run. These practices take place within school, so none of these materials will be used at home.
