My students use headphones pretty much every time they use the computers in the classroom, which now that we are back to in-person learning is thankfully not nearly as much as it used to be. That being said, they will start using their computers more regularly next week as we start math stations and reading groups. During these small group times, my students need headphones to listen to audio books, use the interactive apps provided by the district, and play online math games while they are in their small groups. The current set of headphones in my classroom are falling apart. The replacement ones provided by the school are very flimsy and they have already started breaking after only a week of use. This will obviously become a big problem as the year progresses. My students would appreciate any improvement to the current headphone situation.
