I will use these resources to build the students' phonics skills and to begin building and reading CVC words. The word building puzzles will help them isolate the sounds and begin to read simple words. This will help the students reading and writing skills and will build their confidence to implement while journal writing. The math items will help students see, read, and build the relationship of quantity and number sense. These resources/materials will be used in small groups during center time as they work with partners to practice their number talk and social/oral skills with their peers.
