These materials will lead to self exploration and imagination in little minds. They will build on my student's imagination and verbal abilities in school and at home when they share their projects with families. The story and hands on manipulatives will build on their listening and communication skills as well as interacting with peers to complete the story. Arts and crafts will be done so they can share the story at home. The various size paper and hand print paint will allow my students to use various materials to stamp and create projects that relate to theme of the week. My students enjoy partaking in stories that allow them to use hands on materials to increase engagement during Story Time.
