I teach mixed age groups from five years old to twelve years old. Students love to work in teams. They love to explore and do different kinds of activities. While older grade students work on hands on activities from their tables, on the floor, building structures, exploring and observing. Students Kinder to Second grade need more engaging and guidance. Having a rug in our Science Class will help my students have a better engaging environment. It will minimize distractions by them having a specific area where to sit during circle time, other than finding a right place where to sit while in circle time.
