I mainly have students on the autism spectrum, ages 3-5. A few of them struggle communicating their feelings. My students need sensory items to help them calm down when they feel overstimulated, especially a variety of sensory items. It's important to have a variety since every kiddo has their own interests. The cuddle pillow would be good for students who need a hug. The squishy sensory dough gives tactile-oriented students a release. Also, the changing sensory mats gives students a chance to not only release stress, but also just to get their wiggles out!
